Worldwide Treasure Gold prospected in Arizona 15 years. I wound up reading online about recreational prospecting which helped a lot. Arizona Geological Survey Provides Free Gold Info PDFs
Here is a link to an Arizona geological Survey site courtesy of Arizona government. this publications covers Gold Placers and Gold Placering in Arizona by Eldred D Wilson. These publications are free to download for your education. It is a 1981 University of Arizona Bureau of Geology and Mineral Technology copyright 1968. It replaced bulletin is 1681. It is interesting reading and details the locations as of gold in Arizona from all the sources available at the time. A warning to the public is given that if you are looking to profit from the information, gold placers are usually the first gold found. This piece is good for finding out how many mines were in the county, the number of ounces found and their value; included is silver data.
