Worldwide Treasure Gold prospected in Arizona 15 years. I wound up reading online about recreational prospecting which helped a lot. But, while I prospected with a club in Apache Junction, Arizona, I was reading about treasure associated with channels on prospecting. This led to reading about treasure. The stories are from Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, California, & more; treasure buried by ancient Indians, Spanish conquistadors, 19th century prospectors, or Europeans.

The Silver Mines of Tombstone, Arizona
You may know of Tombstone Arizona as the place where the OK Coral firefight occurred, and certainly everyone knows of Wyatt Earp, et al. But the town "Too tough to die" became because of silver. There are a number of old mines outside the town. You need to read the Wikipedia summary of its history. It is thorough and has lots of photographs.
