One of the earliest gold rushes in the United States was in Georgia. News of the gold discover sparked one of the first major gold rushes in the U.S. By mid 1829, Georgia received tens of thousands of hopeful miners salivating to hit it rich. the mines numbered in the hundreds. As has been proven by time, businessmen and miners quickly followed. Others with a sense that gold discovery would spark economic development which followed. Of course, towns and settlements followed rapidly. Alatoona, Georgia was one of the first boom towns in Georgia, early in our country's development.  Allatoona  is an  u nincorporated town  in  B arlow County Located  in the state of Georgia, it is situated  along  6 miles southeast of Cartersville. Gold American Eagle Monster Boxes come straight from the U.S. Mint. They are red and their lid is removable. These boxes are made of a very strong plastic. There is a chance that the boxes and tubes have some scratches as they are recycled by many coin companies. The tubes in the boxes are easy and convenient to store gold bullion in. Each Monster Box comes with 25 tubes of 20 one ounce Gold American Eagle coins. The design for the Gold Eagle originated in 1907 by August Saint-Gauden. It appeared first on the 20 dollar Double Gold Eagle. Most collectors judge the American Eagle coin design as the most beautiful in the world.  Wages in New South Wales and Victoria quickly rose. The diggers, as the were called, came from around the world. The diggers formed a tight -knit group separate from the official authority of the British. This resulted in the notion of mateship, a common bond between Australian workers. The salutation "Hey, mate" can be thought of as "Hello, comrade." Miners had to pay for licenses but had little influence over how the were treated on with anything to do with mining rules. As a result, miners were at odds with officials. In 1854 near Bellarat thousands of miners burned their licenses. They built a stockade for their own use and created their own flag. Fights with police and soldiers ended up in the deaths of 22 people. Eventually the governing classes became less adversarial and the miners were granted the right to vote. The first payable gold was discovered in Ophir in New South  Wales and then at Bellarat and Bendigo Creeks in Victoria. The first "rush"...

As is the case with any economic boom, the Australian gold rush of 1851 lead to the recruitment of Australians from Eastern Australia, China,and Europe. It is hypothesized that the news of discovery of gold in Western Australia was inhibited earlier by the government out of fear of wounding the economy. It was feared a mass migration of workers to gold fields would leave industry elsewhere in tatters.  Australians started emigrating to the United States when the gold fields opened in California in 1848. It was at this point that the New  South Wales government sought approval from Britain to take advantage of mining mineral resources and began advertising rewards for the discovery of gold. Immigration included 300,000 people arriving in California between 1848 and 1855. In Victoria, a state of southeastern Australia,the population increased from about 80,000 in 1851 to 550,000 by 1861. Two theories on the origin of gold are taught in our schools. One involves the explosion of supernova stars and the resulting nuclear fusion creating atoms of gold,while the other, the collision of neutron stars that results in a gamma-ray burst, which is one of the most powerful explosions possible. When a star that is bigger than our sun dies (at least 5 times), a huge explosion occurs. The core of the star is extremely hot which creates outward pressure. Gravity exerts force from the outside in. These forces balance, which is how the star stays together. When the star starts to fade, the inside force decreases and gravity causes the star to collapse. This rapid decrease in pressure then creates a force in the opposite direction and the surface of the stare explodes. Note the reaction when a building collapses.
