Trump Administration Announces $90 Medicare Payment for Eligible Seniors
Millions of Medicare beneficiaries could receive a one-time $90 payment under a new initiative announced by President Donald Trump. The administration says the funds are intended to help seniors manage Medicare-related costs and will be distributed through direct deposit or mailed checks.
The White House stated that the money will come from the Medicare Improvement Fund, a federal program that was created to support Medicare enhancements. Officials say most Medicare Part B participants will qualify, though some exceptions apply.
The announcement is separate from another rebate program connected to Affordable Care Act coverage. Trump also referenced his broader economic agenda, including a previously discussed proposal that would provide larger payments to American adults under certain future political and economic conditions.
The administration described the Medicare payment as part of its ongoing effort to reduce healthcare expenses for older Americans.
